The company name “Regnatec” is a coined word that combines the Italian word “legno,” meaning wood, and technology. It expresses our desire to create beautiful wooden furniture that enriches people’s lives by exquisitely fusing cutting-edge technology with traditional craftsmanship. Yudai Kabashima, the second generation, has developed original brands, each with a distinctive concept, based on an advanced perspective with a global sensibility and respect for nature.

The natural and modern “CLASSE” is a fusion of simplicity and functional beauty. ARIAKE” is a co-creation between 10 designers from 7 countries and Regnatech craftsmen, harmonizing the traditional culture of the Saga region with a global sensibility and developing it into a new style. And “ROOT” is a collection of office furniture that uses Saga cypress to connect people with the forest and create a comfortable office space. Each of these products is characterized by a form that highlights the unique qualities of the material, and for this reason we strive to source carefully selected, high-quality wood from around the world.

Ecology, safety, and community are the three top priorities of Regnertec. We procure materials from producers who are committed to forest conservation and management so that they can continue to produce high quality wood in the future. We also treat wood products with care, with the spirit of reducing waste, reusing, and rebirth as much as possible. Examples include cookware, toys, and crafts made from scrap wood. These wooden products bring warmth to indoor spaces. The workshop is also equipped with a special dust collection system to collect sawdust, which is then offered to nearby dairy farmers.
